How clients agree to receive text messages
Last updated 17 October 2026
Who sends the messages
Before You Meet is used by independent providers (for example wellness practitioners, coaches and consultants) to send their own clients one link before a session they have booked. Messages are sent in the provider's name, by Before You Meet, a trading name of ACJ Systems Pty Ltd.
How a client gives consent
A client gives their mobile number directly to their provider when they book a session (in person, by phone, or through the provider's own booking form) and agrees to receive text messages about that booking. The provider then enters the client's details in Before You Meet.
What the provider confirms before sending
- Client name:
- Jane Citizen
- Mobile:
- +1 555 010 0199
- Session:
- Thursday 24 October, 10:00 am
What clients receive
One message per booking, and at most one reminder. Example:
Before You Meet: Jane Smith sent a link to confirm your session on 24 Oct and pay. Review: https://beforeyoumeet.io/s/ZNYGZP6N9N Reply STOP to opt out.
Messages are about the client's own session only. We never send marketing or promotional messages, and we never share mobile numbers or consent with third parties for marketing.
Opting out and help
Reply STOP at any time to stop messages from Before You Meet. Reply HELP for help, or email admin@acj3.com. After STOP we send one confirmation and no further messages to that number. Message frequency varies by booking. Message and data rates may apply.
